About Asbyrgi Canyon
A horseshoe-shaped canyon in northern Iceland. Legend says it was formed by Odins horse Sleipnir stepping down. The cliff walls are 100 m tall. A dense forest grows on the canyon floor. Part of Vatnajokull National Park.
