A canyon on the Navajo Nation. People have lived here for 5,000 years. Spider Rock, a 230 m sandstone spire, is iconic. The White House Ruin is a 1,000 year old Ancestral Puebloan dwelling. The Navajo still farm and live in the canyon. Managed jointly by Navajo Nation and National Park Service.
